  1. Time-lapse photography - Photography that takes place over a long period of time, often hours or days. Although the sequence can be triggered manually according to a schedule decided in advance, the ideal equipment is an intervalometer, which automatically triggers the shutter at set intervals. This method of photography reveals action that is too slow to be noticeable to the eye, such as the opening of a flower.
